“Both myself and my husband would like to take this opportunity to express how happy we are with the level of care, guidance and nurturing given by Monkey Puzzle nursery. Our daughter has been with the nursery since she was just over a year old (she is now two and a half) and the progress in each area of child development has been so visible to see and we truly believe a lot of this is down to the care and teachings of the staff there.

We value the strong communication from the managerial team down to the daily catch ups with our daughter’s key carer, the variety of subjects she is taught on a weekly basis and the way the staff are there to help us learn how to guide her in milestone moments, like toilet training.

From a family medical perspective, we have had a turbulent year and the nursery staff ensured our daughter had a caring, consistent familiar place for her to continue to thrive and feel safe. They went above and beyond in supporting us and our daughter, which was invaluable to us.

At a time when many of my friends are taking their toddlers out of a privately-paid nursery and into a nursery attached to a particular school, we are happy and eager to leave our daughter with Monkey Puzzle all the way until the school transition, as we know how much she loves it there.”

“We would like to say just how amazed we are at the standard of care Monkey Puzzle has provided for our daughters. It is the only place both girls have walked in and clearly felt so confident that they are safe and going to have a good day. Their days are creative and stimulating and always enjoyed. When we collect them, the staff always have time to speak to us and tell us about their day and have a genuine interest in what is going on in their lives. The relationship staff have with the children is one of mutual love and respect.

In addition to this, the nursery have gone beyond the required level of care with the support they provided for our ASD diagnosed daughter. This has been the only environment which she tolerated and enjoyed. Throughout her time at Monkey Puzzle she was supported in areas she found challenging whilst being encouraged to excel in areas she was interested in. The handover and transition support to school was amazing and ensured that staff in her new setting were prepared for how to interpret behaviours and best support her whilst my daughter also had confidence in managing the change.

The support we received as parents from the nursery whilst going through the diagnosis process was so valuable and we feel very lucky to have had such amazing support.

“We have only been a part of Monkey Puzzle Nursery for a short time but have been eagerly awaiting our sons start. We feel lucky to have found such a lovely Nursery with such great staff who we believe will look after and care for our boy in a way any parent would hope for. Our son’s key worker has made settling in a lovely experience and already he is happy to see her when she greets us at the start of his day. It was really great to be able to meet his key worker at the home visit and we felt instantly comforted knowing we had someone to talk to about any concerns etc.
